Levittown

Levittown
Levittown was the name of the first town of massproduced, affordable single-family homes built by William J. Levitt on Long Island, New York, with a population of more than 10,000 between 1947 and 1951. Similar towns were established outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1951 through 1955 and in New Jersey in 1958. The New Jersey Levittown is now called Willingboro.
